How the conversion works

  1. Both the amount and the exchange rate are parsed as fixed-point decimal values.
  2. CNY to foreign: foreign amount = CNY amount × rate (foreign currency per 1 CNY), rounded half-up to two decimals.
  3. Foreign to CNY: CNY amount = foreign amount × rate (CNY per 1 unit of foreign currency), rounded half-up to two decimals.
  4. No fee, margin, or mid-market adjustment is added or assumed.
